Francis and Eliza

Sailing ship of 345 tons built on the Thames which was used to transport troops during the Napoleonic War. After conversion to convict transport It was briefly captured by an American privateer in 1815 and stripped of her guns and ammunition before being allowed to sail on to Port Jackson with 52 male and 65 female Irish convicts.
