Dutch Australian Society Neerlandia

Founded by the Dutch immigrants who had settled in a camping ground in Narrabeen, DAS Neerlandia became a successful social club for its community, preserving a cosy, home-like Dutch atmosphere and celebrating Dutch holidays.

Frenchs Forest

Leafy north-eastern residential suburb. It is named for James Ffrench [sic], special constable and crown lands ranger, who supervised timber-getters and set up sawmills in the area from 1856.
