John Bailey's upper farm

Thirty acres of land on the Macdonald River that was farmed by John Bailey in the early 19th century. In the 1820s the location was identified by Aboriginal people in the area as Nyeering, possibly from yirang (Darkinyung), a cliff or steep hill.
