Violent murderous rampage on the afternoon of 17 August 1991 at the shopping centre Strathfield Plaza by gunman Wade Frankum, who randomly killed seven people: Roberta Armstrong, Robertson Kan Hock Voon, Patricia Rowe, Carole Dickinson, Joyce Nixon, Rachelle Milburn and George Mavris, before killing himseld. Many more were also injured.
