Theatre group founded by May Hollingworth with the immediate wartime objective of taking quality entertainment to troops in camps around Sydney. After the war, the theatre was established in Northcote House, Reiby Place in Sydney. The venue had a boxing ring for a stage, 72 old cinema seats on platforms in the auditorium, and a subscription list of 500 people for its opening season of six plays. It moved to premises in the hall of Christ Church St Laurence before it finally closed.
