Lightfoot, Samuel
Convict who was tried at Exeter, Devon on 14 March 1785 for stealing clothing to the value of 81 shillings and was sentenced to seven years' transportation. He received the first land grant at Greenwich in 1794 though it was cancelled in 1800. He was later appointed supervisor of the hospital in Hobart Town, Van Diemen's Land.
