Stones, Bridget

Described as a 'formidable lady', Stones established and ran the famous Stones Milk Bar in Coogee for almost 30 years. A local boy named Peter Cook recalled how he and his contemporaries would call Stones 'Mum' and 'she would open a packet of cigarettes and sell them to the kids one at a time for threepence'.
