Sandstone cenotaph standing in a small triangular reserve known as High Cross Reserve in Randwick. It was unveiled by the Governor-General Henry Forster on 3 May 1925. The memorial displays dedicatory plaques and a bronze laurel wreath, and is accompanied by a flag staff. It commemorates those who served during both world wars. It is unusual in that the names of over four thousand World War I veterans, inscribed on a parchment roll, are contained within the structure.
