HMAS Sydney

Four Royal Australian Navy ships have been named HMAS Sydney over the last 100 years. Deployed all over the world, they have all maintained a special connection with the port of Sydney.

HMAS Sydney III

The first aircraft carrier of the Royal Australian Navy commissioned in England in 1948 which saw action as a troop transport in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. It was sold for scrap in 1975.
