Osborn, Andrew Delbridge
Andrew Osborn was Librarian of the University of Sydney 1959-1962. He was instrumental in designing the new Fisher Library building which opened in 1963, and in transforming the University Library into a vital partner in the University's teaching and research. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Sydney in 1978, and was made a Member in the Order of Australia in 1986.
