The past year has seen many changes to the Dictionary and we'd like to thank all of our amazing volunteers, supporters, contributors, collaborators, partners, colleagues, and especially our readers, for their expertise, encouragement and patience. We're looking forward to bringing you more Sydney history in the coming year.
We'll be back on 2SER Breakfast with Nic Healey on January 17, but until then you can always browse through previous posts and links to audio from 2SER on the blog and you're sure to find something intriguing on the Dictionary itself.
If you'd like to listen to more history over summer, 2SER have just launched a special podcast series The Folded Lie, that looks at a killing that took place in Sydney during the Great Strike in 1917. A man was shot dead, the gunman walked free, two bystanders were jailed and the government buried the story. How and why did this happen? Listen and subscribe here.
