Johnston, William Roderick

Pastoralist who migrated to Australia from England when he was 18 years old, first gaining experience in sheep stations in western Sydney before going to Queensland. He became involved in the buying and selling of cattle stations and was successful doing so, so much so that he purchased Clairvaux House back in Sydney.
