Lidbury, Frederick

Business manager of home decorating business in George Street at the beginning of the twentieth century who was the Mayor of Rookwood, now Lidcombe, on several occasions. His name was combined with that of another Mayor Alexander Larcombe to create the new suburb name 'Lidcombe' when it was felt that the area's development was being held back by it's association with Rookwood Cemetery.
