Ern Malley Hoax

Fictional character created by James McAuley and Harold Stewart in an elaborately conceived deception to determine whether Max Harris who published Angry Penguins could distinguish between poetry that was 'a collection of garish images without coherent meaning and structure' and the real thing. It became international news and resulted in obsenity convictions and the death of modernist poetry in Australia.

The Rocks Windmill festival 2013

Festival event created by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority between 12 April and 12 May 2013 in a temporary four storey timber windmill in Rocks Square on the site of an early Sydney mill. The windmill acted as an educational workshop and performance venue over the festival period.
