Exhibition of paintings of parts of Sydney which were due for demolition in the cleansing of The Rocks and Millers Point after the outbreak of plague in 1900. Organised by the Society of Artists, it was held in their rooms in Pitt Street.

Parramatta Industrial Juvenile Exhibition 1883

Exhibition of objects from public and technical schools around Sydney. Adult performances of music and physical skills were also included to induce adult attendance. Whilst it was hoped to raise money for a new school of arts, it was not a financial success.

Wrapped Coast – One Million Square Feet

Artwork created in 1969 by artists Jeanne Claude and Christo, who wrapped a 2.5km portion of the coast of Little Bay in fabric and rope. The largest artwork every made, it was the first of their large scale environmental public artworks and the first work supported by Kaldor Public Art Projects.

Temporary public artwork created by American artist Jeff Koons that was exhibited in the forecourt of the Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay from 12 December 1995 until 17 March 1996. A 12.4 metre high structure in the shape of a terrier that was then filled with soil and flowering plants, it was the tenth work supported by Kaldor Public Art Projects.
