Prostitute famously nicknamed 'The Kiss of Death Girl' who was associated with the razor gang wars of the 1920s and 1930s. She was described as 'a redhead with a ripe figure and provocative china blue eyes'. She committed suicide in her flat in Darlinghurst in 1953.

Matthews, Maisie

Prostitute and criminal figure who became the lover of the petty thief and sly-grog seller, Iris Webber. Matthews was romantically linked to another criminal figure, Bill Smillie, and was associated with Kathleen McLennan. Together they were convicted of slashing a woman with a razor in 1936.

Criminal figure of Surry Hills associated with the petty thief and sly-grog seller, Iris Webber. In 1945, she was tried for shooting the prostitute and thief, Margaret Holmes, who later died in hospital. McLennan was acquitted.
