Independent Chapel

Congregationalist chapel designed by John Verge and built in 1830 on the western side of Pitt Street between Park and Market Streets. In 1846 the congregation moved to a new building further along Pitt Street between Park and Bathurst Streets.

Lane Cove Congregational church

Church built in 1878 but closed when the congregation merged with the Uniting church in 1977. The building is now used by the Kamilaroi Retirement centre.
