Anzac Parade Obelisk

Six metre high memorial which stands on a stepped sandstone base. The lower portion of the monument consists of light-coloured sandstone masonry featuring a simple curved decorative motif at its top.

Hyde Park obelisk

Sewerage vent modeled on Cleopatra's Needle on the banks of the Thames River in London. It was one of the earliest monuments recording the good works of a Sydney mayor.

Macquarie Place obelisk

Sandstone obelisk erected by Governor Macquarie in 1818 to mark the place from which public roads in the colony were measured. Designed by Francis Greenway and built by Edward Cureton with convict labour.
