Shearer, Andrew
Clerk who enlisted in the 53rd Battalion, disembarking at Liverpool, England in October 1917. He was attached to the Australian Army Pay Corps in England in December 1917 and then to the Australian Army Medical Corps. He was attached to duty at a hospital in Tidworth, promoted to ER Corporal in May 1918, promoted to ER Sergeant in May 1919 and was then discharged from the AIF in 1920. He chose to stay in England to marry and work.
